Mooring system for boats

It includes the installation of a specialized mooring system for large vessels in the Cocos Island National Park. In Chatham Bay, a tandem mooring system was placed, with the capacity to support large vessels. In Wafer Bay, a buoy was installed for large yachts, a tandem mooring system for ACMC vessels, and another mooring system was relocated to a site where it could better fulfill its function.  For the installation of these systems, the sites recommended by the ACMC were used. The purpose of this new mooring system for large vessels is that they do not use their own anchors, so as not to run the risk of damaging the seabed. This initiative was made possible by a partnership with Amigos of Costa Rica.
